Curriculum
Dr. Alba Zárate (Barcelona, 1989) is a general surgeon specialized in hepatobiliopancreatic surgery and pancreatic transplantation. She graduated in Medicine at the Universitat de Barcelona (2013), did her residency at the Hospital Parc Taulí and developed her doctoral thesis at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2022).
He has made stays at King’s College Hospital in London and Paul Brousse Hospital in Paris to further his training in the field of liver transplantation and hepatobiliopancreatic oncologic surgery.
Since 2019 she has been practicing her specialty at the HPB unit of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and is an associate professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
