Curriculum
Dr. Steinherr is a physician specialized in Internal Medicine. He completed his university training at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2009-2015) and later specialized training as a resident at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital (2016-2021).
Since September 2021 he has been working as an attending physician in the Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery Unit providing support with a holistic view of the patient and for medical complications of hospitalized patients. As an internist, he is also in charge of a monographic consultation in venous thromboembolic disease and anemia studies.
Dr. Steinherr is developing his doctoral thesis in the field of Artificial Intelligence applied to Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery. For this purpose he has received a Talent Retention grant (Programa d’Ajuts Trias Talents – Convocatoria 2021).
